Great food, atmosphere, and.service. Excellent experience!

Always great food, however I'm on a special diet, so they baked the cod instead of frying for me to accommodate my eating.

I love this restaurant. I live in Denver and everytime I come home to Alton, I always stop! The cheese they give you with the crackers is amazing! The food and overall menu is great too. They have a bar too, so if you want a drink with dinner you can do that too. I would recommend you stop by and try this place out.

The pizza was good but the fried Chicken was disappointing.

Love this place. Always get the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. It’s huge and delicious. Also try the onion rings they are truly the best.

Carried out 3 Pork Tenderloin dinners to eat with my mother while in town. Grilled tenderloin was very flavorful and tender. Enjoyed the whole meal. Restaurant has been in business for years and are always busy.

First time EVER eating there. Have lived up the street 2yrs now. Our waitress Alyssa a new gal was very nice and on top of her game. I didn't feel like she was all over us while trying to eat yet all our drinks never went empty upon ordering she suggested items and I even asked a few off the wall questions about advertising and she immediately found the answers for me. The place did look dated but you know what, its nice to walk in a place and feel like its been there awhile. The food was great over all I would definitely go back and I would appreciate the same waitress it was a nice meal thank you Alyssa.

Dingy dirty outdated decor with expensive subpar food. The younger servers need training on how to serve a table properly. Hasn’t changed in 25 years. Won’t go back.

It's okay... nothing has changed throughout the years. The staff was really friendly. The food was not bad, but nothing to get excited about either. This is one of those old family kind of places, that could use some updates to the menu and dinning area. I visit here once a year... maybe.

It looks a bit like a bar from the outside, but it's also a good family dining restaurant with good homestyle food! Good service, good food, good atmosphere!

We had Italian beef and pork tenderloin sandwiches. Both were hearty and delicious. Our waitress Alyssa was nice and kept our drinks full. Love the interior, reminds me of places my parents took me when I was a kid.

We have ordered carry out from here multiple times. We order the same thing each time- the ribeye dinner. The first few times it was ok. The last 3 times our steaks have been waaaaay overcooked. About 6 months ago, my husband took our steaks back after he already got them home because they were medium well and we ordered them rare. When my husband took the steaks back, the owner was drunk and gave him some bizarre excuse about how the steaks were not overcooked but had cooked themselves on the 2 block drive to our house.... no apology ever made. we decided to give them another try this evening. We ordered 2 ribeye dinners, cooked rare. Got the steaks home, and they are medium well, at best. Mine is well done in most spots and chewy. It's not even worth the effort to take them back for replacements. The only good part of my meal is the house salad. If you go here looking for a properly cooked steak, you'll be disappointed.

Didn't have the best experience. Staff tried to make up for it, but none of my party had a very good result when it came to food. If it weren't for them trying to correct what happened, I would only give 2 stars.

Love the catfish and rueben, the onion rings and fried pickles, and the canneloni bites! Great community bar.

It's such a friendly, local restaurant. They have consistently great food, a decent selection of beers, and reasonable prices. I love their house salad and their grilled pork tenderloin. They also make a really good cheeseburger and fries!

Not overly impressed, my steak was raw not medium like I asked. Server seemed bothered by my request to cook it longer.
